I’m Shahab
A solo product designer, who thrive in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments. I partner with agencies and startups to craft coherent and intuitive digital products that meet both business goals and user needs.
Imagine you’re solving a jigsaw puzzle. The first thing you do is find the corner pieces and place them in their spots, then you create the frame by fitting the edge pieces together.
Now, you categorize the remaining pieces based on color, texture, and other clues, and you try to fit each group together like separate islands. Eventually, the puzzle will complete, by filling the gaps between the islands.
While solving the puzzle, you sometimes step back to see the big picture, assess your progress and plan your next moves.
This is the same approach I take to solve problems in my mind. The puzzle pieces are the information, and completing the puzzle, is grasping complex concepts.
I’m Shahab. Solving puzzles isn’t just a pastime for me; it’s how I tackle daily challenges, finding joy and fulfillment in the process. I thrive on connecting the dots between pieces of information, effortlessly navigating complexities to uncover innovative solutions.
The product design process for me is like solving a big puzzle with lots of smaller puzzles within it. By gathering initial data and conducting research about both business and users, I arrange the corner and edge pieces of the puzzle together and create the product structure in wireframe form.
Then, I give a consistent personality to it, using eyeful and meaningful visual style so users want to interact with it.
Having a strict standard for my solutions, makes my outcomes comprehensive and satisfying for both stakeholders and users.

Simulating FRCS written exam, to create a close experience for the candidates, was Saleh’s (our client) idea. FRCS exam is a professional qualification required to practice as a surgeon in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. To achieve this, he needed an analogous and standard question bank, a similar exam center, and an online exam platform.
I am deeply passionate about mental health. Understanding myself and being aware of my surroundings allows me to live more authentically. By gaining a better understanding of my true desires and validating them, I can tune into my own needs and enhance my relationships. This awareness increases my capacity to accept others for who they are.
My number one hobby is hiking in the woods and mountains, which I enjoy with my beloved wife and friends. Recently, when we had no plans for the weekend, a friend called out of the blue, inviting us on a spontaneous trip to the village for a camping adventure. We quickly packed our bags and hit the road, excited to escape the city’s hustle. The four-hour drive was well worth it, as being surrounded by nature with safe people is truly rejuvenating.
I believe that life is filled with new experiences, and this motivates me to move forward and learn more. However, I also make it a point to pause and appreciate my achievements along the way.
In my free time, I love hanging out with my wife and our cat, listening to instrumental music, and watching basketball. These moments bring me joy and help me unwind.
